Visit Banff in Western Canada

For many snowboarders around the world one of the their favourite overseas adventure travel destinations is the area of Western Canada and in particular the Banff National Park. This area is not only home to some spectacular wildlife but its also a great area to find some of the best powder during the winter months. The town of Banff itself has a great deal to offer visitors having a great selection of bars, clubs and restaurants to eat and drink inside after a hard day on the slopes. Also worth a visit is the famous Banff Spings Hotel which was the venue where the world famous film The Shining was made featuring the actor Jack Nicholson.
